Dragos Cristian Agapie has been playing piano since he was six years old. In a career that has spanned over 20 years, performing all styles of music, the Romanian pianist, now living in Japan, has played concertos, recitals and chamber music in many cities throughout Europe, South America and Asia.
By the time he finished high-school, Cristian had won major awards at several national and international piano competitions.
For five years in a row, he was an exclusive member of the orchestra
performing at Caffe Florian, Venice - the oldest caffe in Italy and one of the most famous in Europe.
Since moving to Nagoya, Cristian has continued performing both solo and in collaboration with famous artists like Bao Jinzhong (tenor), Robert Borsos (clarinet), violinist Ran Matsumoto and Iwao Furusawa and korean tenor Bae Jaechul in prominent concert halls across Japan, while also making appearances in various TV programs on Asahi TV and TV Tokai.
